++ 13th MAY 09' ++ I attended the first Ambassador Team general meeting. Time : 6p.m. - 8p.m. Venue : LTK-1
what we did in the first meeting? We were divided into groups of 6 and were sitted according to our own groups. Each group consist about 20 people from various courses... and this is my starting point of achieving my goal to find true friends. We had an ice breaking game to get to know each other's names and we started exchanging HP numbers. Then, the exco members of A-Team gave a brief introduction on the management system and the upcoming events. After that, we had another game call the "VIRUS GAME". At the end of the meeting, we had refeshments.. the slot that practically everyone is waiting for... And thats the end of our first A-Team meeting.. We will be having another grooming session on the coming wednesday,, 20th of May 09'.
That was my first CCA meeting here in NYP, n i think i did had a great time as i get to know more new people. I want to be active in this CCA and hopefully, get to know more friends from here as this involvement is my stepping stone in achieving my goal that I've set by week 13.
To achieve my goal is not something impossible.. all i need to do is to make the first move as i cannot expect everybody to start making the first move saying 'Hello,, I am.... Nice to meet you.'. Being friendly and humble is the best way to make new friends and most importantly, we must not be ego or be too proud of ourselves.
Hoping that i'll be able to know more new people by the next meeting that i will be attending =)
Next thing, I'm still pondering about the offer i got from malaysia. I've consulted my friends and family, n everyone has different point of view. I am really confuse and do not know which will be the best decision. The only thing i can do now is to wait for the offer letter and then decide. =(
Feeling excited now as i'll be going back to my hometown in IPOH next weekend. Although its only for the weekend, I'm glad that i'll be meeting my family and friends back home. I've been missing everything in my hometown since i came here... =) And i'm gonna buy some nice food for my friends here.. "Heong Peng", that is what they want.,.. hahahahaa.. Hope to c my friends and family soon. Looking forward to next weekend.
