read an article on "being in our mum's shoes" that article kinda relate to my situation somehow and i guess it will relate to every teenagers' situation
we tend to feel that we are all being controlled by our mum we felt that we are living in a cage somehow as our mum often say NO to whatever we want to do I often tell my mum not to worry too much as i've grown up and i will be able to take care and make decisions on my own
Then, my mum asked me to put myself in her shoes every single mum in this world will definitely be protective over their children and will worry for them in every single thing they do I totally cannot put myself in her shoes as i'm not one's mother yet
However, i realised that every decision made by our mum is for our own good
they have their own reasons for saying NO
teenagers are often rebellious at this stage of life
as most of us are curious
curious of whats outside the world that we have not seen
curious of having adventures
and trying stuffs that seem to be fun and cool
but...we will never look into the consequences
i believe that every teenagers out there will want to have some new adventures with their bunch of frenz the world now is totally different from our parents' time
as the world is of great technologies and creative inventions
there are many new and interesting things that we, teenagers would like to explore and try
although it might be risky and dangerous
we may have our reasons of adventuring with our frenz
whereas our mums will have their reasons of disallowing us
and in the end.. all we can do is to abide to the decision made by our mum
and yup.. i do believe that every mum in this world will be protective over their children till the day they leave the world as they are the ones who gave us life and they want to ensure our safety and welfare
i guess every mum will prefer their children not to grow up and be by their side forever
but yea.. once again.. this is life! we as children will sometimes complain these and that about our mummy but in the end.. they are the ones right by our side whenever we are happy or sad they are the ones who will not give up on us and will not leave us therefore, start appreciating your mum if you have not start obeying her and try being in your mum's shoes and think in their aspects as well
as i'm writing this.. yup i'm telling myself to do that as well and be a good good daughter=)
