  sorry that i have not been updating my blog for quite some time
has been very busy for the past few days these are the COOL stuffs that i've been busy with for the past few weeks since im back in singapore ............................. INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS' ORIENTATION 9th APR 2010 main purpose was to give an exposure to international students on the living in Singapore and to get them mentally prepared of the study environment in Singapore the day started with REGISTRATION of course 
and i was the emcee for the event together with YeChao 
had some talks from the International Students' Office as well as slideshows on school environment for the freshies 
SKIT for our own ISC members cast include ME as an aunty >.< so so MALU!! hahah. but i did had fun =) 
performance by the KENDO CLUB 
performance by NYP Chinese Orchestra 
we proceeded with GAMES after lunch and i was the facilitator or GROUP 6 
had some communication problem with them at the beginning as most of them are china students and they do not understand what i was saying >.< seem like i was talking to the wall though so i kept asking my partner to translate what i want to say to my group members and well.. i did speak in chinese i think they understood me a little so i guess my chinese is improving LOL had prize presentation after everything and i did a very spontaneous host that lighten up the atmosphere completely and im so proud of myself for that part of the event HAHAH 
GROUP 6 my group and we won 2nd place!! grats peeps=) 
and finally.. the orientation ended with SMILES on most of our faces the orientation went smoothly and we were glad that our hard work paid off =) 
and we had YUM SENG to end our session!! so like chinese new year to me.. HAHAH 
enjoyed myself to the max throughout the whole planning and during the event althought there were some parts whereby improvements need to be made.. but i guess we all did a GREAT job and woohoo~~ THUMBS UP ISC!! =)  |
