29th MAY 2010 R.A.T.Race [Run-Around-Town-Race] by SEG Care&Share Club 12-6pm
YeuShan KJ and I was basically the main games planner for this event we took about 2 months to plan this whole event out and we had 3 times of trial run for it as well we put in alot of effort in this event and it was something we look forward to each day

the day of the event finally arrived..

and some preparations on the event day itself
it began with registration of participants and a short briefing by me and the president they were asked to hand up their belongings to us they are only allow to keep their ez-link cards as well as a handphone and a camera with them only
FINALLY.. i started off the event with the first game in NYP itself
they are to search for 20 students and 5 NYP staffs' and get their signature on their hands
after completing the task, they are to finish up 1 whole watermelon
after that... they were given clue to the first station in town and their journey began there they were suppose to complete a total of 18 stations with all the funny acts and task they got to accomplish b4 obtaining a clue to the following stations some pics as below to roughly describe what our game was all about ~~~

some teams did enjoyed themselves to the max however, some team did not they were totally pissed off as they could not solve the clue and they were far far left behind
that was the main problem for that day we were trying to slow down the leading group to lessen the time gap in the end, they could not complete all 18 stations we had to close down many stations as it was kinda late already and all were gathered in school pretty late for the prize giving and closing ceremony
the winner of the race UMBRELLA team CONGRATS!! =) and great job!~

and the 2nd runner up RedRats team grats!!
ALL the peeps involved in the race=) thanks all and you guys were AWESOME!!
my bestest buddies here thanks alot you guys lifted my spirit totally as i really thought that the event was a complete failure it was you guys who kept cheering me up THANK YOU!!!

we ended about 9 stg and i was in school till about 11 to chat with some frenz
overall,, i honestly felt that it wasn;t sucessful many stations were cancelled due to insufficient time and many groups were stuck in a particular station as they could not find the place i guess the clues were a little too difficult but i did not expect that they will stuck at a particular place for so so long and that was when problems started to occur and the first team was just way ahead it was quite messy in the mid of the race as we made many changes to the stations i just could not face my frenz anymore as they were pissed off mainly cuz they could not solve the clues and they were saying that the clues are wrong the clues were basically an idea to direct them to the place and then they need to find the station masters however, it was a super tough thing for them which i never thought of b4 this
to those who did not enjoyed the race a thousand apologies we've tried our best to make it perfect but things just din't work out as expected we will try much harder in future and we hope that you guys will still support us
throughout this event, i've gained real lots of experience exploring places in the town with frenz and thinking of ways to make them fail the stations HAHHAA the games were pretty fun and cool i would say mostly involve passersby and confidence if i'm given a second chance, i'll choose to become a participant
now that it is finally over
i'll concentrate more in my studies
and less of activities
but gosh..>.<
2 more camps awaiting me
can't wait to go home
i miss HOME!!
